IIChE welcomes all the Organizations and Institutions interested in development of chemical engineering profession
may become to its fold. They may become organizational members of the institute subject to fulfillment certain
eligibility criteria and completion of other formalities.
Criteria for becoming Organizational Member:
Organizations and Institutions interested in development of Chemical Engineering profession and its application to Chemical
industries may be elected Organizational Members as prescribed in Clause 13.5 in the Constitution.
Organizational Members have to be from (a) Chemical and Allied industries including service industries, (b) Research Institutions
engaged in R&D activities related to Chemical Engineering Science and Technology, (c) Academic Institutions engaged in education,
training and research related to the Chemical Engineering profession, (d) Relevant Media Organizations, Consultancy Firms and (e)
Organizations serving the profession of chemical engineering. The decision of the Council in the above matter shall be final.

Rights and Privileges for IIChE Organisational Members.

A brief profile (within 500 words) of the Organization / Institute, taking Life Membership, will be printed in IIChE E-Newsletter following enrolment.
- Organizational Members will receive a certificate of membership on enrolment.
- A maximum of four delegates (depending upon the annual turnover of the Organizational Member) will be allowed to attend the annual conferences of the Institute (CHEMCON), without paying the Registration fees. From Academic Institutions, one delegate can attend CHEMCON without payment of Registration fee.

At the CHEMCON venue, the Life Organizational Members will be offered space for banner, standee or stall at a subsidized rate.

Experts in relevant fields from the Member Organizations will be invited at major seminars, workshops, training sessions and conferences as resource persons.

Subject to availability, staff members from the Member Organizations will be able to avail of the Guest House facility at IIChE Headquarters in Kolkata at a discount.

Organizational Members will be allowed to use IIChE logo in their letterheads.

The Life Organizational Members will be kept informed of all programmes, to be organized by the Institute Headquarters or the leading Regional Centres of IIChE.
Customarily, the events are publicized in advance through the IIChE website, Newsletters, etc. The concerned Regional Centre also keeps its members updated about
the programmes accordingly. The representatives from the Member Organizations will be able to attend such events at a subsidized rate (the rates paid by individual IIChE members).
