This letter is to seek your bright and academically rigorous students/ recent alumni for our PhD programs in Chemical Engineering at Shiv Nadar University (SNU), Delhi NCR Campus at Greater Noida (U.P.). A brief about SNU is given below as also links related to the admission process in Chemical Engineering at SNU. In these days of limited job opportunities, the career of bright students will get a big boost with PhD studies at SNU. SNU gives the highest assistantship in India to all admitted students. PhD fellowship is Rs. 50,000/- pm for first two years and Rs. 55,000 for the next two on maintaining good progress. 100% waiver in tuition fee. Hostel rent waiver is 70% for both PhD. The last date for applications is 15th June 2021.

A brief note on Shiv Nadar University
SNU has been founded in Greater Noida, NCR, in 2011 by the Great Educational Philanthropist,
Sh. Shiv Nadar, Founder of HCL Technologies, the 3rd largest IT company in India with over 1,30,000 employees worldwide. Sprawling over a 286-acre campus SNU has already made a name for itself as a research led – student centric, multi-disciplinary university. University Grants Commission (UGC) Expert Committee report on it speaks gloriously (https://www.ugc.ac.in/pdfnews/4993819_ShivNadarUniversity-Anx-II.pdf) as also the award of an Atal Innovation Center (AIC) by Niti Aayog seals its reputation as a pioneering university. It has the only full-fledged Dassault Design Center in universities in India opening up vast research and design opportunities in all fields. (Dassault is the manufacturer of Raffaele Fighters in France.) It is the youngest operating university to be have been classified as an Institute of Eminence (IoE) by UGC, one of only 20 across India. This puts it in league with long-established IITs and IISc. It gives SNU the freedom to formulate its policies and procedures outside of the UGC Framework so as to facilitate its move up in the international rankings. All its approx. 200 faculty members have PhD from renowned institutions worldwide. Its students come from 27 States of the country and abroad as well. It boasts of some of the finest research labs among universities. Divided into 4 schools (Engineering, Natural Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences and Management & Entrepreneurship), it has a faculty to student ratio of approx. 1:10.
